Abstract

The research aims to assess the relationship between process re-engineering with its dimensions (investment in technology, strategic alignment, process redesign, innovative rethinking, customer focus, and change management) and its impact on organizational excellence in its dimensions (leadership, strategy, human resources, organizational structure). As the research problem is embodied in the main question, which is (What is the effect of process re-engineering on organizational excellence). The study sample is represented by a number of individuals working in the General Company for the Manufacture of Cars and Equipment (Factory for Production of Cars and Special Equipment) in Alexandria / Iraq. The study sample amounted to (131) individuals working in the company’s departments. For the purpose of data collection, the research relied on the questionnaire as a main tool that was prepared in the light of reliable and highly reliable standards, as well as drawing on the opinions and ideas of researchers and specialists in the field of research variables. After unpacking the questionnaire from the data, it was subjected to statistical analysis using Cronbach Alpha and Paragraph Stability Coefficient for the dimension and the variable, the correlation coefficient and the simple regression, and by adopting the program (SPSS V.24). Adequate attention to customer opinions in redesigning its operations. Also, there was no clear desire from the company’s management to involve employees in the company’s decision-making process. Based on the conclusions reached by the research, several recommendations were proposed, the most important of which are: The need for the organization to conduct a comprehensive, radical review and rethink the administrative and technical methods and processes for it by searching for the elements of success for re-engineering operations .
